  One of the most spectacular hikes I've been on. It's 9km roundtrip and the recommend time to do it is 5 hours however you can definitely do it under that. The end is a steep incline where you need to hold onto a chain so be prepared to wear gloves on a cold day. Worth the climb for the view! Also very rocky terrain so always be mindful where you step.

  The track needed cutting as the vegetation limited the width of the path in a lot of places. Of more concern was the missing infill barrier section on one of the summit lookout/viewing platforms. A child could have easily walked off the platform and fallen a few metres to the ground (and then tumbled further through the scrub...). While I'm aware that my visit coincided with the end of the school holidays, and this is a popular Park, it didn't appear that Rangers had visited to do any maintenance or tidying up of rubbish along the track and under the viewing platforms for some time. Graffiti on most signs was also in evidence and further demonstrated that the Park and its infrastructure was a bit neglected. My biggest regret after completing this walk was that I didn't have a bag to carry out other people's rubbish.
